Dahls's Foods Becomes Official Outlet For Iowa Events Center Tickets
(Des Moines, IA- July 13, 2005) – Global Spectrum, operators of the Iowa Events Center, today selected Dahl’s Foods to become the official ticket outlet for all Iowa Events Center events at Veterans Auditorium and the state-of-the-art Wells Fargo Arena which opened to the public on Tuesday, July 12. “We are proud to be a partner with a strong, locally-owned company like Dahl’s Foods, who will help us provide additional convenience for Central Iowans who want to purchase tickets to the many exciting events at Wells Fargo Arena and Vets Auditorium,” said Global Spectrum’s Andy Long, General Manager for the Iowa Events Center. Customers will be able to print their tickets at home through a new website, www.dahlstickets.com These new print-at-home tickets will begin in the next few days and can be used to attend the first events at Wells Fargo Arena, including Tony Hawk’s Boom Boom Huck Jam on Thursday, July 14 and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with special guests the Black Crowes on Monday, July 18. There is also a new charge-by-phone number that customers can use to purchase tickets (866-55-DAHLS). In addition to purchasing tickets on line (dahlstickets.com) or via phone charge (866-55-DAHLS), there will be 11 ticket outlet locations throughout the Des Moines, IA, area, according to Long. The outlets will be available by July 28th. “Our goal is to always provide the ultimate experience for our fans each and every time they visit the Iowa Events Center and this experience always begins with the ticket purchase,” said Long. “It’s important for us to provide options for our customers who want to purchase tickets and attend events.
