The Whittemore Center Arena, on the campus of the University of New Hampshire will begin selling tickets through a new, more efficient ticketing system. Global-Spectrum, operators of the Whittemore Center Arena introduced New Era Tickets as the new ticketing company for all events at the arena beginning on Friday, July 1. Additionally, New Era Tickets will also serve the ticketing needs of the University of New Hampshire’s Athletic Department. “New Era Tickets will allow Whittemore Center customers the convenience of purchasing tickets with many new and exciting opportunities to enhance their purchasing experience,” said New Era Tickets President Fred Maglione. New Era Tickets and Global Spectrum are subsidiaries of Philadelphia based sports and entertainment firm, Comcast-Spectacor. Tickets for upcoming shows, including MEAT LOAF on Sunday, September 4 at 7:30 p.m., and BILL COSBY on Friday, September 16 at 8 p.m. will be available through New Era Tickets beginning on Friday, July 1, 2005. The Whittemore Center Arena, under the management of Global Spectrum is located on the University of New Hampshire campus in Durham.
