ComcastTIX To Manage Ticket Sales For The Legendary Blue Horizon

Philadelphia, PA (August 1, 2007) - ComcastTIX is proud to announce a new partnership with The Legendary Blue Horizon to manage ticket sales for the historical venue's upcoming events.

The Legendary Blue Horizon, located near Temple University, has had a long and illustrious history of boxing. In fact, Ring Magazine voted it the Number 1 Boxing Venue in the World and the Sports Illustrated Magazine notes it as the last boxing venue in the country.

ComcastTIX looks forward to working closely with Vernoca L. Michael, promoter and co-owner of The Legendary Blue Horizon, to expand the reach and customer base of the venue. Through Blue Horizon Boxing Promotions, we are assisting the non-profit organization, NIA KUUMBA at The Legendary Blue Horizon in its building renovations as well as developing The Philadelphia Boxing Museum and expanding the Learning Center.
