Saint Josephs Partners With New Era Tickets for Basketball Ticket Sales |
PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's University has entered into a partnership with New Era Tickets to handle Internet and telephone ticket sales for Hawk men's and women's basketball games beginning with the 2010-11 season, it was announced by director of athletics Don DiJulia.
New Era offers state-of-the art ticketing services and will provide more convenience and efficiency for Hawk fans with features such as online payment, expanded call center phone support, bar-code scanning, print-at-home tickets and online single-game sales. This system will also allow fans to receive game-day information and order game programs and media guides.
"We are very excited to begin this partnership with New Era Tickets, a preeminent leader in the industry. New Era will offer tremendous support and convenience and allow us to provide enhanced customer service for our loyal fan base," said DiJulia.
New Era Tickets specializes in providing innovative technological solutions for box office management, event management and customer communications as well as offering a full-service ticket and marketing product for public assembly facilities, show promoters, sports teams, theaters and entertainment organizations. Throughout the year, New Era Tickets will sell over 8.5 million tickets in 18 venues throughout the United States and Canada.

The new online ticketing site will be available through Saint Joseph's Athletic website, SJUHawks.com in early September. Phone requests will be handled by calling 888-SJU-HAWK or 610-660-1712.
